As soon as the weather starts getting warmer and the
school year nears its end many international schools in Beijing
organize fairs for students, teachers, parents and the whole
community. These weekend days offer an opportunity for eveyone
to meet in a relaxed atmosphere, for the children to play and
for parents to inform themselves about various interesting
activities offered in Beijing for foreigners.
Representatives from different shops set up booths and try to
sell their goods, for example shoes, bags, or jewelry to the
people and the same goes for organizations and companies who
want to indroduce their services to the international community
of Beijing. Usually there is also a wide variety of
international foods and snacks being offered and a game area for
the kids, which makes it into a worthwhile event for adults and
children, families and friends, foreigners and Chinese alike.
JVK International Movers Beijing was already present at three of
these events this year and will continue to be involved with and
support international schools. Here are some photos taken at
Beijing City International School’s “Spring in the City” and Yew
Chung’s “Global Community Day”. The third event we went to was
the British School of Beijing's "Summer Fayre". Keep your eyes
open and you may see us at the next international school event.
We most definitely look forward to it.

On Firday April 24th JVK International Movers Beijing
Office held its annual Spring Party for the second time. We
invited our partners and clients, as well as potential clients
and got a response of around 200 people who attended the party
that night. Happy about this overwhleming interest, we tried our
best to make it into a party everyone would enjoy and we hope we
succeeded at that.
We offered a rich buffett and a selection of fine French wines
and other drinks for free. A lively conversation started during
dinner and until late at night people enjoyed the music, danced
and had fun. At least we hope everyone did, and judging from the
smiles on peoples’ faces in the photos, we believe they did.
The venue “La Plantation” is an art gallery/bar, so besides
eating and drinking there was also the opportunity to admire
statues, paintings and photographs and listen to the artists
explain their works. This was a special opportunity to learn
more about the wonderful works of the artists (Annick Gaston,
Audrey Salmon, Daniel Moussier and Philippe Bouvet) in a relaxed
atmosphere or to discuss them with other guests.
We uploaded the photos that were taken during the course of the
night to our website here. This way we want to express our
thanks to our guests, we sincerely hope that you had a good
time. |
