This position is suitable for a single mature individual, under 30 seeking a meaningful, long term career in a respectable industry and with a long established company. Candidates must be independent, confident, have good communication skills, be organized and have the ability to convince the customer to use our services.  

A 3 month training/probation period will be arranged and based in Hong Kong. During that period the employee will be taught the basics of the international moving industry and necessary sales/marketing techniques. They will be assessed on their ability to learn quickly, their general suitability for the position, to apply lessons learnt and primarily on their ability to secure business.

Based in Hong Kong you would be required to undertake the main sales effort for the company ( undertaking premove surveys, cost calculation, quotations, follow up and conversion. You will also be required to undertake the marketing effort for the company ( arrange sales calls, attend professional business networking events, assume a high profile in targeted social activities).  

Assist as required in managing moves after booking them. Additionally routine administration work would need to be undertaken in the office.

After 1-2 years in this position it would expected that the next step would be into a sales/marketing position and beyond that into a Branch Manager position.

For the first training/probation period in Hong Kong the basic salary would be HK$15000 per month. Once this period is successfully completed the salary would raise to HK$20000 per month. No accommodation will be provided at company expense. A commission scheme will also be provided.

Two weeks paid vacation will be provided. Vacation cannot be taken from April – August as this is the busy season for the moving industry. Statutory Hong Kong holidays will also be provided.

First review will take place after completion of training period in Hong Kong. A second review will take place after completion of first twelve months of employment but no change in the compensation package will be negotiated. After completion of the second year employment a pay increase could be negotiated. There after at the end of each year of employment the individual will be reviewed.
